Grenier is having a prolific year, from solo outings and remixes, to his lauded album with NY’s Archie Pelago trio. A few months ago he and Petey Clicks (of Clicks & Whistles,) were featured in a Thump video, and the alluded to a collaborative project. The past few months have seen Petey Clicks writing a fair bit of bassline house for Party Like Us Records, and Grenier has been exploring various tempos, but both have extensive backgrounds in bass focused styles (I highly recommend Grenier’s series of VOID albums). The details of the project have surfaced, their project is named Nevermind, and the depth of material sounds immense, a melting pot of grime, techno, house, and bass.
The first official release is on Trouble & Bass at the end of this month, with at least two more EPs and a mixtape to follow, plus they are touting eight bootlegs to be given away for free. Preview the first EP here:
