Chances are if you’ve seen Drive (2011), you’ll just as easily remember it’s soundtrack. With the amount of recognition the artists have consistently received over the past year, it’s certainly reasonable for them to stretch their talent off the reel. Starting next week, French artists College and Anoraak will join Canada’s Electric Youth in a month-long journey across the states titled The Drive Tour. There will be leather jackets, fake leather jackets, and most likely a projector screening Ryan Gosling in a leather jacket.

Luckily if you’re in the DC area on July 21st, they’ll be making an appearance at DC9 that you will not want to miss. Knowing each of them carry amazing talents and have done incredible collaborations with each other, you should expect the night to be full of surprises. Not to mention Blisspop friend and Volta Bureau member Micah Vellian has been brought on for local support! Tickets are still available, but knowing the capacity of DC9, I’d recommend acting sooner than later.
