LA’s Seven Davis Jr. is responsible for some of the funkiest house cuts to hit us in recent memory. He’s gearing up to release his new EP for Classic Music and “Beautiful” is just one of the addicting floor movers on there. It’s an unstoppable cut of groovy house carried by skittering hi hats and a hypnotic bass groove, partnered with modulated vocals and light synth work to add just the right amount of funk that ultimately ends up sounding like Prince started a house project.
