Pomo – So Fine

A few weeks ago, Disclosure tipped one of the frequently played tracks in their DJ sets, and not much of a surprise, the track is instantly addicting. “So Fine” is a funky, synth heavy track by Montreal-based producer, Pomo. It has sort of a jagged disco feel to it, not dissimilar from some of label mate Kaytranada’s more recent music, and takes you on a trip through a retro soundscape built out of fat poly chords, glimmering arpeggios and a weighty synth bass that staggers along with the beat. The dreamy synth pop vocals add a nice melody over top and help give the track a nice pop sheen. You can grab the track for free in the comments section, and if you head over to the HW&W Recordings Facebook, you can delight in a number of free tracks from the likes of Pomo, Kaytranada, Ganz, and Sweater Beats.
