Fort Romeau consistently puts out some of our favorite grooves, specializing in spacey deep house tracks with a surprising amount of soul and texture that are impossible not to groove to. His latest is a remix of Jacques Greene’s “No Excuse,†and the track is one of his best yet. Building a house groove under a hypnotic bassline, he creates a collage of synths and percussion sounds that float in and out of perspective like threads of a dream.
