Prepare to lose yourself in Her Dream, the latest EP from UK producer Fort Romeau. Switching gears from his previous string of releases on Ghostly International, Fort Romeau turns to Live At Robert Johnson for his hazy and hypnotic three-track EP. Her Dream starts on a high with “I Knew,â€easily the standout of the package. “I Knew†takes a cue from the dazzling energy of French House while leaving out any sense of grandeur. Fort Romeau smooths over the rest of the EP with “Pirouette,†which has a funky and spaced out-charm, and the slow-burning title track, “Her Dream,†which rolls out into a lush closer.
