Itâ€™s been seven, long years since the legendary French electronica band, Air, returns to the United States for their Twentyears Air tour.
This tour will be a celebration of all their glorious hits spanning the past 20 years. This electro-acoustic pop group was founded in the mid-90s, influenced several generations, and left its mark on the sound of its time. Along the way, Air has produced cult albums such as â€œMoon Safariâ€ in 1998, â€œThe Virgin Suicidesâ€ in 2000, clever pop LPs such as â€œTalkie Walkieâ€ in 2004, rich experimentations like â€œ10 000 Hz Legendâ€ in 2001, and various collaborations with Nigel Godrich (Beck, Radiohead) and Charlotte Gainsbourg on her â€œ5:55â€ album among others. I canâ€™t help but wonder which of their classic tunes they plan to perform as a live band for this upcoming tour. This is one of those bucket list items that I wouldnâ€™t miss.
