Sam Feldt – Show Me Love

Anyone who has spent copious amounts of time diving in and out of clubs has heard the dance classic Show Me Love by renowned vocalist Robin S. And if it wasn’t the original, it was some refix by EDM powerhouses like Steve Angello, Hardwell, or Afrojack. Now it appears that the house music standard is being utilized once more as the inspiration behind Sam Feldt‘s upcoming release through Spinnin’ Deep on February 16.

As one of the more prominent names in the up and coming subgenre of ‘tropical house,’ Sam Feldt has cemented his place within the scene by his eclectic sampling choices, often involving nature, to complement the island inspired rhythms typical of tropical house fare. This is on display here via the cheery chirps of songbirds that pan throughout allowing the track to emanate a bright, doe-eyed sensibility that suits the vocals to a tee. In fact, the vocals here will no doubt stir plenty of feelings during Feldt’s upcoming tour: they not only nail the lyrics of the original, but they deliver a fresh listening experience that stuns as the track culminates into a breeze of blissful synths and bells. It’s a sensational take on a classic and could be a major player in deep house sets in the coming months.

Listen to the preview edit of Sam Feldt’s Show Me Love after the jump and be sure to get it upon its release on Feb. 16. Feldt will also be performing a sold out show at U Street Music Hall with Thomas Jack and Tommy Cornelis on Valentine’s Day.
