EASYFUN – EASY THIS EASY THAT

Your average DJ mix is not typically only 7 minutes and 4 seconds long, but then again, EASYFUN (PC Music) is not your average DJ/producer. EASY THIS EASY THAT is his second mix for PC Music, and this one clocks in at an entire three seconds shorter than his last. Luckily, EASYFUN, real name Finn Keane, included that little tidbit as the only information accompanying the release on SoundCloud.

It starts off with what sounds like a warped sample of Armin Van Buuren’s “The Sound of Goodbye,” before devolving into like a LuckyMe-esque remix a la someone like Rustie. This track quickly transforms into an onslaught of hyper-bright chords that sound like the composer, Conlon Nancarrow, fed through a Super Nintendo. He saves the best for last, seguing into an unnamed EASYFUN original, which ends up being the highlight of the set. It was debuted at PC Music’s Pop City event in Los Angeles, earlier this year. It’s short and sweet, but EASY THIS EASY THAT packs a punch. This mix follows Hannah Diamond’s most recent single, “Fade Away” in a string of upcoming PC Music releases that are due out by year’s end.
