New Artist Profile: Brandon Choe

Looking for new artists to break through in 2013? Well, we’ve got an exciting one for you not too far from us in the DC area.

Straight out of Centreville, MD, 18 year old University of Maryland student Brandon Choe is someone to look out for. This computer-engineering student has been producing for only a year but Brandon has the talent of taking eccentric electro beats and transforming them into colorful and catchy house tracks. Being strongly influenced by his family, his dad introduced him to dance songs of the 80’s and 90’s and cousin has done the same with every genre of electronica dance music. Growing up he played the violin, saxophone and piano.

Having the desire to make people dance drives Brandon’s passion and creativity. His current influences–Benny Benassi, Kaskade, Rusko and New Order–encourage him with his latest work. He is currently working on a Moombahton and Trap side project motivated by the sounds of Dillon Francis, Kill Paris, Diplo and Baauer.

Brandon continues to be inspired by new things, but most importantly he wants people to feel good! Be sure to watch out for this up and coming artist. In the meantime, take a listen and enjoy free downloads of his latest remix’s of Zedd’s “Spectrum” and his newest remix “No Beef” by Afrojack & Steve Aoki.
