Mountal is a new production duo by way of Germany, and they’re gearing up to release their second collection of originals for Chicago-based imprint, Large Music. The Doma EP is a solid collection of deep house grooves. The title track is built around a simple bass and drum patten that’s paired with piano stabs and an airy vocal over top. The track has a nice laid back feel to it. “Boat Party†is a bit more upbeat, pumping up the throwback house vibes to make for a suitably groovy track. “Would You Be Mine?†closes the Ep, building spacey atmospherics over deep groove.
