New Monarchy remixes are always a welcome thing, especially when they come by way of house legend MK. MK’s remixes definitely have a distinct sound. Sometimes they work, and sometimes they’re sort of washed up feeling. Luckily his take on “Living Without You†leans towards the former, making the track into a nice, upbeat house groove based around a piano stab pattern and driving bass line. It’s straight forward and does a solid job of repurposing the vocals for a club setting without losing the catchiness of the original. Take a listen below:
