Laszlo Dancehall – LZD III

Laszlo Dancehall, the duo comprised of Leon Vynehall and A1 Bassline, is back with their third release for George Fitzgerald’s Man Make Music imprint. “Plimton” starts the record with a raw house groove built around a driving 4/4, sample based melodics and a growling bass drop. It’s melodic, groovy, and spacey all at the same time. “Zizzou” takes a deeper approach, surrounding a driving house beat and clattering snares with swirling synths and mangled vocals. The focus falls mostly to the percussion. George Fitzgerald closes out the record with his take on “Plimton,” completely reworking the track into a dense melodic house track driven by claps and a massive low end.
