Reeling in the tropical sensibilities, French producer Kulkid has re-purposed Marvin Gaye’s “Let’s Get It On” into a vibrant, soothing soundscape with dancefloors and sandy beaches in mind. Featuring layers upon layers of ecstatic steel drums and marimba coalescing with harmonies reminiscent of Chris Malinchak’s “So Good To Me,” Kulkid’s newest offering successfully doles out positivity without sacrificing intricate weavings of beats and melody. The end result is a shimmering example of why music is so important: it can release us from the harsh realities that life sometimes has to offer us.
No official release date as of yet, but you can stream Kulkid’s “Let’s Love Baby” below after the jump.
