Volta Bureau‘s latest collaborative effort with long-time friend Gwenno (of The Pippettes), a remix of of her August release “Ymbelydredd,” adds a signature hypnotic pulse and house beat to the whimsical and emotive indie-pop tune that tells of young summer love, uncertainty and mischief.
Volta Bureau’s effortlessly mesmeric touch makes it easy for listeners to slip away into a daydream of a youthful, carefree affair in Gwenno’s hometown of Cardiff (see lyrics in the original Welsh, and English translation, at the bottom of the post).
