Freeform Five – Leviathan

Freeform Five has been killing it recently. The London based producer released an awesome single in the form of “Brandy Alexander” at the end of December, and he has just come back with the epic “Leviathan,” featuring the vocals of Róisín Murphy. The track is anthemic but restrained, focusing on Murphy’s vocals and chants, slowly wrapping them in mellow pads, subdued disco tinges and an ethereal soundscape. It’s a track that sticks with you and manages to be simultaneously haunting and empowering. The remix package has some heavy hitters on it as well, featuring mixes from Tom Trago, Compuphonic, and Cage & Aviary.
