Chromatics – The Page (Furniteur Tape Edit)

Furniteur is the new band from Brett’s Kevin Bayly and Mike Toohey, featuring singer Brittany Sims. Their sound is a no frills homage to 80s synth pop with an indie band flair. They recently debuted with lead track “Modern Love,” and last week dropped a nice cover of “The Page” by The Chromatics. The song was recorded on an 8 track tape using all vintage keyboards and sequencers resulting in a delightfully retro sound that could have just as easily been recorded 20 years ago as 20 days ago. Grab the free download below and make sure to catch them tonight at Dr. Clock’s Nowhere Bar over in Adams Morgan.
