Let’s Play House just dropped some serious fire! The new Roundabout EP by Swedish up and comer André Laos is a 4 track home run. This is easily some of the best material to come out of the label and a great debut for Laos. “Detour†kicks things off with a groovy old school vibe. Running off a piano house line that filters down into an arpeggiated synth and playful swells,it’s a high energy track with a feel good vibe. Session Victim’s take on the track chills it to laid back opening number perfect for zoning out to the collage of samples from the original, played out over a no frills house beat. “Yield†is possibly one of the best tracks we’ve heard this year, swelling to a climax with fat poly chords, warm vocals, spacey synths and a driving beat. “One Way†rounds out the EP nicely, cooling things down a bit with a minimal house groove before working itself up into a big, piano driven climax.
