Amtrac has just his first batch of originals in awhile. The Undefeated/Primal EP came out on Armada’s new imprint, Black Book Audio, and features two tracks in Amtrac’s signature style of driving deep house that straddles a nice line between basement dance parties and more rave friendly environments. Both tracks have quick easy grooves that suck you in right away as well as a nice helping of melody and energy to keep the floor going. “Undefeated†is the most similar to Amtrac’s previous work, utilizing a chopped up vocal over a deep bass groove. “Primal†is a bit more atmospheric, weaving a dense web of burbling synths and airy pads.
