Out on the West Coast, the Night Bass sound is taking over. The Los Angeles party and record label have gained a strong reputation through their dependably solid release schedule and high profile events. Their sound, one that mixes the swing of UK garage with the bombast of big room house with an additional injection of heavy low end, has proven to be an infectious party starter all around the globe. The latest release from Night Bass is the fourth installment of their This Is Night Bass series which wrangled some of Britian’s top shelf UKG producers including DJ Q and Champion. A standout track from the compilation is the opener, “Roosevelt,” by Aussie producers Yolanda Be Cool & Wongo. The track’s signature drunk dial vocals mesh with the crisp uptempo production and humming bassline. Lucky District dwellers can catch Yolanda Be Cool on October 19th at U Hall.
