I honestly can’t get enough of this trend in jazz and funk influenced house that’s currently being championed by the likes of Max Graef and Glenn Astro. It’s super soulful, sleek, musical, and it’s pretty impossible to not groove to. The latest from that camp comes by way of Andy Hart, who has collaborated with Graef a few times in the past and authored a handful of stellar release of his own. Hart’s latest EP is coming by way of Detroit Swindle’s Heist, and it’s one of our favorite things we’ve heard this year. Each cut is a 10/10 and wanders freely around the territory of jazzy house music with a light 60s psychedelic and disco influence woven in the threads. We need more music like this:
