Launching just last year, the London-based label Nervous Horizon has moved from strength to strength by releasing their crew’s highly syncopated, percussion heavy club tracks. The label’s sixth release, Sacred Drums by TSVI, landed last month. It broadens the label’s sound by bringing African live percussive elements into the mix. The EP is packed with highlights, among them is “Assam’s Children” whose tumbling hand drum rhythm is outfitted with weighty Jersey club bass kicks. TSVI and Vjuan Allure (profiled on Blisspop last month) will headline a L.E.N.G. & Classical Trax event this Saturday, December 3rd, at DC Eagle.
