The 100th release on the SCI+TEC label, Dubfire’s remix of the.art.of.FY’s “Come†features sultry matte black finished vocals by Asia Argento. Her muddled and echoed enunciations contribute to the hallucinatory dreamscape. The production is accented with an array of disorienting and finely designed sounds. Much like an ivory tower electroacoustic collage, the cut is a somatic listen. A snaking liquid bass line and playful panning of percussion anchor the rhythm. There’s a fairly consistent dynamic throughout the track. Overall, this is a great mid-set plateau preceding a ramp up.
