Nick Catchdubs is the kind of producer that can literally flip just about any record into an eclectic amalgamation of sound. His newest mix, a take on the traditional, world vibe of Red Baraat’s “Bhangale,” chops up samples and marinades them wholesale with a sauciness that’s rich and full of flavor proving that music is sometimes best served as a salty, french fried fixin’. This track is the kind of jolt that can kick the party up a notch with enough kicks and claps to ensure pounding feet on the floor in 4/4 putting a brilliant twist on a genre of music one wouldn’t expect many to sample from.
