Nadastrom have a new release on Sabo’s Sol Selectas Records. If you aren’t familiar with Nadastrom, read more about the duo in this Spotlight feature we did on them in May. “Jupiter” and “Chivas” have a refined deep house sound with cosmic inspirations. The Soundcloud track description of the release elaborates on the sound Nadastrom captured:
“Both tracks are based around strong melodic themes with the same psychedelic synths dancing wildly around their hooks. “Jupiter” takes a stripped back approach relying solely on a kick and cabasa for its drums, with lush synths guiding the impactful journey, while “Chivas” uses polyrhythmic percussion to drive the record.”
“Jupiter” is my favorite of the two, but I’m confident that many listeners will favor “Chivas” – both tracks are well produced works of art. “Jupiter / Chivas” is out today on Beatport, and the release will be available everywhere on the 15th. Listen:
