NY indie dance duo Holy Ghost! are at it again, this time cooking up a disco fueled remix of Katy Perry’s “Birthday.†The track is only faintly reminiscent of the original and about 20x as fun. It’s a synthy disco groover, brimming with DFA charm and feel good vibes. Katy Perry’s voice is used intermittently to accent the track but the real fun comes with the horn blasts and synth heroics.
