Jamie Prado had some magic in 2014 thanks to the majorly slick production he had on releases like the songs Gladiator, Real Eyes, and Hold You. Today, the Los Angeles based producer and DJ debuted several tracks whose release date is yet to be determined, but they nonetheless bounce and break with mind-blowing severity.
The knockout track in this series is the deep, grimy edit Easy which marks a new strain in Prado’s musical DNA. The track has a lot of similarities with the more approachable side of UK grime and deep house anthems: deep, dubby basslines centered around a hypnotic catcall that literally screams for intense vogueing and displays of attitude on the dance floor. Frankly, this track means business which makes this a welcome departure from Prado’s stellar, previous works that were altogether a more atmospheric, tech house vibe than what is on display here. And we can’t wait until we can get our hands on it.
Until then, check out the track after the jump and expect a forthcoming release date soon.
