LA based duo, De Lux, just released their debut album, Voyage, on Innovative Leisure, which gives us a great excuse to write about lead single “Better At Making Time†again. De Lux blur the lines of what we’ve come to expect from indie dance music sounding like a mix of tropical indie dance with a healthy helping of DFA thrown in. It’s somewhere along the lines of what it would sound like if Yacht and Classixx teamed up. Better At Making Time†is nerdy, dreamy, and super groovy leading with a instantly addicting disco groove, sun drenched synths, and post-punk feeling vocals.
