The party that inspired the opening and concept of U Street Music Hall, Bliss, returns with resident DJ/producer Will Eastman, and special guests Bird Peterson and Chris Nitti.
Bird Peterson is well known for his unique remixing style and sound ranging from Baltimore club to nu-skool breaks. His remixes and tracks have swept Internet blogs over the past five years, making frequent appearances on Discobelle, Gorrila vs. Bear and IHeartComix; his latest mix, The Bird Peterson Holiday Spectacular, was released on Mad Decent back in December. Peterson’s upcoming releases include a remix of Eastman and Micah Vellian’s (Dmerit) latest single, No Sleep, and the forthcoming Balls mixtape set for release this spring; featuring an exclusive a capella introduction sung by Eastman and Micah Vellian.
Resident and U Street Music Hall co-owner Will Eastman is looking forward to several new releases; his latest, a remix of Dmerit’s Stuck On You is scheduled to drop on Output Noise Records, February 8th, and has already gained tremendous airplay throughout college and internet radio. His second single, No Sleep, will be released in the spring via Plant Music, and will feature remixes by Treasure Fingers, Bird Peterson, Lazaro Casanova, Loop Jack (house alter-ego of Jon Roman) and Tagteam.
