Today Essen’s own Den Ishu released his latest track, “New Luv,” digitally via Noir Music’s long-awaited deep house compilation, Second Chances & New Romances Volume 3. Although the whole EP proves to be excellent — with tracks from Larse, Danny Daze & Matches, Tiger Stripes and Blond:ish — Den Ishu’s “New Luv” seems to shine the brightest.
The thick, lush bassline and the slightly harder-hitting beat paired with the passionate lyrics of two bizarre voices experiencing crush/lust anxiety renders “New Luv” both relatable and irresistible.
