Max Graef has quickly set himself as a producer who can do no wrong. Following his irresistible remix of Shur-i-kan’s “Jazz Club†and the massive Broken Keyboard EP on Heist, he recently dropped the track “Bummse,†which was showcased on Brandt, Bauer, and Frick’s DJ Kicks and also released on vinyl via The Gym. The track sounds like Graef woke up in the basement of a record store, reworking scratchy samples over an infectious and muscular groove. It’s entirely hypnotic and instantly danceable, keeping in line with the throwback deep house sound Graef has been building for himself. Check it out below and keep an eye out for his debut LP, Rivers Of The Red Planet, which is due out in the near future.
