Ninja Tune’s catalog has always been super varied. Recently hosting releases from the likes of Falty DL, Actress, Wiley, and Machinedrum, their next big release is from pop star Kelis. The album, which is produced by TV On The Radio’s Dave Sitek, is up for preorder now, with the teaser track “Jerk Ribs†functioning as the lead single. The track is a collage of musical influences from R&B and soul, to electronica and pop. It’s diverse and somewhat scattered feeling but ultimately explosive and groovy. Ninjatune has also posted two remixes of the track—one is a super chilled and spooky rework by Mount Kimbie and the other a bass heavy, 90s-house-leaning stomper by British producer Bean Pearce.
