Diplo and Skrillex have been gallivanting in the EDM scene as Jack Ãœ for some time now making beats and dropping tracks that jack and weave and cause mayhem wherever they go. Then they released their collaboration with dance music’s current Golden Goose, Kiesza, and they’ve been surfing the wave ever since after “Take Ãœ There” garnered support from Pete Tong, Annie Mac, Tiësto, and remixes by some of the EDM scene’s current talents. Which brings us to this remix: a future bass/dubstep hybrid by Canada’s Zeds Dead.
All of the elements of the original track remain: Kiesza’s swooning vocals layered over a selection of layered synths and pads which all lead to a sensational crescendo into a devastating drop. While the original crashed into a trap beat, this edit swerves straight into  a slippery, thick helping of bass and anthemic synths while tripped out snares and kick drums carry the weight. The fusion of styles are intricately ripe making this edit a satisfying detour into bass heavy territory. And, ultimately, its a remix that departs from its peers and shapes its own space during the recent onslaught of remixes for this particular track.
The Zeds Dead remix of “Take Ãœ There” doesn’t see a release until Dec. 22, but you can listen to it after the jump.
