Frits Wentink has been killing the game recently, and his latest Ep, due out next month on Heist Recordings, is no exception. The Family Dinner EP is some of the strongest work yet from the young producer, collecting all the best elements of his sounds and compressing them into 4 irresistible cuts. “Schrewd†is a deep and funky house groover revolving around a driving beat and distorted bass line. “Ligament†gets you moving with it’s relentless kick serving as the tracks anchor while raw synth swells and chopped vocals work with a tech style bass line to get you moving. On the B side, “Sauce†brings in Dutch singer Loes Jongerling to add her seductive melodies over Wentink’s raw warehouse groove.
