Italian producers Santana Pasta and Luka Carnifull tend to get overlooked at times because it’s tough to place them in a certain genre. Their music contains elements of disco, house, hip-hop, latin, and indie rock to name a few and has led them to coin the phrase “Frico Disco.”
Well, the Italian duo commonly known as Fare Soldi (means “making money” in Italian) has a new EP on the way through Riotmaker Records. Both are dancefloor bangers, although I believe the second track, “Vittorino” has tremendous upside on so many levels. I never thought disco and electro-house could be blended with such ease. Look for the EP through iTunes and Beatport on September 20th.
