Nina Las Vegas has been on a tear in 2016. Last year the tastemaking Australian DJ left the powerhouse radio station Triple J to concentrate on her new label, NLV Records, and her own production work. This year will see NLV put out music from fellow Australian producers Swick, Strict Face, and Air Max ’97 in addition to Nina Las Vegas’s own Ezy Or Never EP released this past April. On Nina Las Vegas’s “Honest” remix, she steps up to reinterpret the Kingdom produced single from D∆WN (aka Dawn Richard). The remix floats the vocal track on a sea of thundering sub bass moves adorned by a plinking woodblock melody. The original mix of “Honest” available now on D∆WN’s Infrared EP on Fade To Mind.
