Hello party people!

This week’s Too Funk Tuesday is brought to you by Thanksgiving and all the other glorious holidays to come. The selection of tracks below is an amalgamation of different sounds, tempos and vibes — each beautiful and unique in the way only electronic music can be. Dance hard and long to these 5 tracks and make sure to keep your head up as you close out this short week!

Enjoy below:

SAILORS — Addicted

This track has it all! It mixes melodic experimental sounds with soul house then spins it on its head by bringing an up tempo set of bpm. Strong synths sooth your ears along with a sweet, almost sexy, refrain that keeps the fist — and the heart — pumping. Enjoy this absolute piece of fire:

Joker — Midnight

Really heavy, and I mean almost on a trap level. The production on this makes it a massive tune, not too mention that I think its uses J-Lo’s “Waiting for Tonight” as its vocal sample (totally correct me if I’m wrong). This track is dance floor shaker, a force that is not meant to be reckon with. Enjoy!

Wolfgang Gartner — Unholy (AMTRAC Remix)

The homie Amtrac is back with another unbelievable remix of “Unholy.” Seriously so impressed with his ability to touch almost any song and make it into dance gold…this track speaks volumes of how much ability this man possesses. Repping Louisville, Kentucky, I must say he’s quickly becoming one of my favorite names in the house game and this song exemplifies why. The energy of the bass, the swoon of the electric guitar and the impact of the kick is definitely worth a listen:

Justin Faust — Slowin On (Mastercris Remix)

Good lord, Discotexas is one label that knows how to throwdown. If you imagine taking the very essence of french touch and putting some electro bass on top, you have this German wunderkind. Mastercris does well with this one and truly puts a great spin on an already sexy nu disco track, done by renounced producer Mr. Justin Faust. Driving basslines and heavy synths, this dance floor soul record will bring your head to a steady bounce.

Felix Jaehn — Shine Everyday (MIX OF THE WEEK)

This is a well deserved crown for Felix Jaehn, an awesome producer from Hamburg Germany. He’s been on my radar for a little while now but I think he’s ready to come out shine! His new Shine EP is pretty legit, and definitely worth a listen. The set begins a little slow, but its uplifting and groovy track mix keep you engaged and running with it. Hit the 10 minute mark and you’ve got a full on buzz by then. I hope the track list comes soon because this is one to keep steady dancing too.
