DC’s had a string of awesome releases this month from some exciting up and comers. Thomas Crown is a district-based house producer who just released his Steal The Past EP for Free Download. It’s a nice collection of bass-y house tracks with an attitude to them. “Spirit In the Dark†is particularly appealing, building a scattered beat and vocal clip, into an unsuspecting house groove that drops in with a Ray Charles sample over top.
