Eau Claire‘s “Room ft. CMG” finds itself turned inside out by Washington, DC-based Nazariff. He takes Eau Claire’s dreamy, shimmery track and somehow hardens it, striking with determination. He plays with the idea of a trap remix: adding toy pianos, a drumline-like beat, and some strings, he creates a sort of eerie, self-aware sensuality that could be found simultaneously in a packed club and a car flying down the highway at two in the morning. Make sure you’ve got some time blocked out folks; you’ll be wanting this one on repeat for a while.
